Viñales, Cuba. Friends, nature and passion [EN-ES]

Ok, as an introduction I will tell you that I make this publication from personal experience and as a Cuban citizen who lives a few kilometers away from the Viñales National Park. And of course I also rely on information from websites to further substantiate and expand the content of the publication. I will leave the reference links at the end.

I really don't know whether to start with the place or the reason for the trip itself hahaha. Well, let's go there:

Viñales or Viñales National Park is located in the westernmost of the provinces of Cuba, Pinar del Río; this is famous because it is where the best tobacco in the world is planted (and not because I say it, you can investigate haha) but in particular Viñales is known to Cubans as a tourist town since this line of the economy has been the main source of income for its Tourism development and investment in the area, this was a mainly agricultural town, where fruits, vegetables, coffee and especially tobacco grown by traditional methods are harvested, fishing is also an important part of the economy of the area.

Well, now let's talk about why Viñales is one of the most important tourist areas of Cuba and it is undoubtedly its great natural beauty so much so that the Viñales Valley was added by UNESCO to its World Heritage List in November 1999. And of course, within so much natural beauty there were us, a group of friends who had nothing better than to do a weekend than to go on a trip through this beautiful Natural Park, yes, we had everything hahaha.

Yes, yes, that beauty I mean, the painted stone heee, that your eyes go where it's not 😜. Well, we scale the stone is really known as the Mural of Prehistory, do we get tired climbing? Well, yes; I know you didn't ask, but I'll tell you anyway. But it was worth it, it's just that look at what views there are:

And well, after the climbing and the photo section it was time to stop being mosquito food and continue the trip through the Valley of Viñales, to get out of the Mural of Prehistory and pass through the town of Viñales we had to walk 4 kilometers nothing more and nothing less, the truth is it was a very entertaining trip since we were enjoying the views and because it kept quiet about

Once the rain passed, we continued on our way to La Cueva de la Vaca, which belongs to the Palmarito Valley, the truth is that the journey was more interesting than the cave itself, it is that we were so locked when we arrived that we didn't even enter.
