RE: The history of a bed with traditional memories.

I've seen several such beds in Paris museums and in Amsterdam and have always thought I'm lucky I don't have to sleep in such a bed. Back in those days it must have been a luxury but by today's standards and fashion, I find them depressing. But they look nice.
