A Mix Of Art
Today I decided to do something different. I'm not saying I'm going to do something I've never done before, because most likely it's not the first time, but it's not a regular thing either. It's going to be fun, so come with me, let's see what I want to show you today.
You know I'm back to visiting art exhibitions and have been posting about each exhibition I have visited, but I usually post the photos in the order in which they were taken and this is why in one post you may see only photos of paintings, or textile art or photos of photos and so on. Sometimes these are photos of artworks from the same artist and sometimes there are from more artists, depending on the exhibition.
This changes today as I decided to pick one photo from each exhibition (that has not been posted yet, obviously) and show you a good mix of art and style, to see which one you like. It's an experiment for now. Let's see how it goes.
Evelin Demeter - Water Lily
This dress may seem odd in this post, as I said I'm going to pot art, but trust me, this is art. I took this photo at the textile art exhibition. At the time of my visit, there was an old gentleman present and was telling the gallery lady that what was missing this year was the dresses. Indeed, this year there was only this dress and two more (sort of) at the top level. Last year there were three if I remember correctly and were more closer to traditional folk costumes. This is a modern creation you can wear for certain occasions.
Anna Szotyory
I took this photo this year, it was a solo exhibition of the artist and this painting has no title. It's a still life that takes you back in the 20th century in my opinion and for me it symbolizes calmness. It is from those times when there was no internet and life was not a constant rush. You went home from work, took care of chores, then made a coffee or a tea, took a book and read in silence for an hour. Those times are long gone, there's no time to read anymore. I've checked and the artist lady was born in 1930, so I was right.
Sarolta Puskai - Save Us, Our Lamb
Going through my folders, I am realizing how many photos are not posted yet. This was an exhibition I visited in May this year. This is a bit funny, because in real life, the lamb needs saving, from humans, but here it is vice versa. I think this was print on paper, but I'm not 100% sure.
Bercsi Gábor - Winter In Kál
This was a solo exhibition of the author and was full of wonderful photos, focusing exclusively on nature. I love these scenes, it gives me some sense of calmness, and the photographer also says, that winters are quiet there.
Károly Bálint - Anna
At first glance seems a little girl, but based on her eyes, I think it's a woman. It's a minimalist sculpture, but most likely looks like Anna, whoever she might be.
László Hunyadi - Pentaton
Penta means five, but what pentaton means ... I don't really know. If you count those side elements, there are 5 on each side ... and there's this as well:
A pentatonic scale is a musical scale with five notes per octave, in contrast to heptatonic scales, which have seven notes per octave (such as the major scale and minor scale). source
Tagging @mipiano here, although I don't think this is about the pentatonic scale, but who knows. She has complained about the piano key not being present on the canvases at the last exhibition I posted about 😜
Attila Pokornyi - Patchwork
Maybe patchwork is not the best word here, but I can't find a better one. This is basically a metal artwork, symbolizing the lose stitches you have, when you're trying to put together a dress, before sewing it.
Károly Bálint - Dream
This is a metal plate, copper I think, or something similar, that looks like copper and it is full of emotions.
Rozália Kozma - Between Dimensions
This is a woven piece, similar to some retro carpet, pretty colorful too.
Levente Herman - Alex
I'll let you say what you think about this. What do you see here? What do you think it means? What was the artist's goal in creating this creature?
Ok, this is it for today. I tried to select different artworks, let's see if you like any of it. Let me know in a comment.

very nice work of art.
It is indeed, every piece.
to Levente Herman - Alex: I see in the object (which at first glance made me think of a dog🐶) an exploration of the relationship between humans, nature, and technology. One could view it as a warning against an increasingly technological world, or as a celebration of fusion.🙃✌️
Nice interpretation and you could be right.
All are beautiful art work indeed, but I really love the dress, the style suits the design perfectly and also the minimalist sculpture of Anna, it's speaks simplicity and calmness.
About time he last picture; what I see is a robot dog, if I am wrong then I must be needing another set of glasses.
The dress was nice indeed. It seems like a robot dog indeed, I have seen one in real life, it was 1m away from me, but was more nicer :D
Oh my goodness, very good art record as you always do @erikah friend!... But what caught my attention the most was that kind of "armored pig of war" (at least, that's how it seems to me) in the last photo!... Very creative, gosh!

"armored pig of war"? Wow, I've never thought of that but it can be. I love when people say different things about the same item :)

Great post, beautiful art in photography, have a nice day my friend And thank you so much for sharing ♥️♥️
Thanks for stopping by.
This type of art is best experienced in person. But it's wonderful of you to allow us to see and experience it through your posts, even if only in photographs ❤️
You can go see them in person if it's possible.
I loved it, thanks for sharing those works of art with us.
I'm glad to hear that.
Very interesting sample!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
They are indeed.
I really liked this experiment! I let my intuition guide me to choose the ones I liked best, and there were two: Sueño and Between Dimensions. Because they are emotional and interesting, and they are topics that fascinate me. They are also very well done! I liked your idea!
I don't know what you mean by Sueño, but Between Dimensions is nice indeed, I like it too.
I also loved the piece made on a metal plate.
I think the last one is used to ride by a human through pedaling in the shape of a dog 🤔
Interesting thoughts.
I like the untitled still life and Winter in Kal. I think there is another element of the still life. I see a portrait of a woman. A man having tea and a snack, reading, and looking at the portrait of his wife. Missing her. Maybe she will return. Maybe she has left. Maybe she has died.
You're right, there's a portrait of a woman. Nice! That portrait means a lot to someone, for sure.
Your idea to pick one piece from each exhibit was so clever, it’s like a sampler platter of art! Patchwork felt super relatable, like how life can be messy but still beautiful. 💖
Interesting explanation on the Patchwork piece and I can see the meaning. You're right!
I really enjoyed reading your blog! Your writing is clear, e. I’d love to stay connected and keep up with your future posts, looking forward to seeing more of your work
Thank you for stopping by @midnightspen.
