Red Oak Leaf - Fall Season - Street View

(Edited)

The beauty of the autumn season is seen in the colorful leaves which signal the changing weather from the hot days of summertime to the cooler temps soon approaching for winter.

I found this Red Oak leaf on the street. It's vivid red made such a brilliant contrast to the black surface of the street. Which made me pull out my iPhone to capture the beauty of the moment.

Four Photos of a Red Oak Leaf

The photos are taken at various angles. I think my two faves are the upright centered photo (1st pic) and the distant angled photo (4th pic). Which one is your fave?

#Value4Value

This is my first submission to Hive Stock Images. I wrote a post titled "Hive Stock Images Concept is Brilliant!" about what is a new dApp discovery for me.

I especially like how Hive Stock Images has what I consider a #Value4Value model. For photographers there is the value of sharing images for other Hive bloggers to use. PLUS there is the opportunity to continue to earn on those photos long past the organic 7-day reward payout. For bloggers, Hive Stock Images is a great way to ween ourselves off of third-party photo sources like Unsplash, Pixabay, etc.. while rewarding fellow Hive creators. Value given. Value received. Which is very much in line with the well known #Value4Value model.

*Photos taken in San Antonio, Texas in December 2021 on my iPhone Xs. Post Production enhanced setting and vibrancy increased to bring out the brilliance of the red which was visible to the naked eye, but not as visible in the captured image. *

The first one is interesting to me and something I'd most likely use. By the way, it would be nice if you add some licensing statement at the end of the post and how you would want to receive the support. It will also give a clear permission to those who want to use your images.

You bring up some good things to consider. I'm new to Hive Stock Photos, so I thought there was a standing method of:

  1. Crediting/Tagging photographer
  2. Adding photographer as a beneficiary of the post where you are using their image OR sending them a tip to the original post here in Hive Stock Images.

However, since that may not be the standing method of crediting and rewarding I will add a licensing and rewarding verbiage to images. Thank you for pointing that out. It's actually quite helpful to think this through in a way that makes it easier for future bloggers to use my images.

I am one of those people who want to use your oak leaf picture hehe. So, that's why I would like to know how you would license it.

It's a great catch! Thanks for this gift, I have a similar image taken by me of another type of plant. I'm glad you could share it. I will do the same. Regards!
