Portraits of my Mother: a post that should have been three years ago

A long time ago, I showed you a portrait of my mom. As I wrote then, she does not like to be photographed. What I did not tell is that my mother was about to release an album and the producer was asking for some portraits (for interviews and promotion; all this was in 2022). So… Mom asked me to take some pictures of her. I do not have a proper camera —I do have my old film SLRs, but it is like not having them at all— and all I could do was to take the photos using my cellphone. That is exactly what I did. And as usual, edited them using Snapseed. Nothing fancy. Here is a couple of examples:

(second from the top). The ones dearest to me were not what the producer wanted. A matter of taste, I guess.
