waking the dreaming cats

we were in town the other day. most of the shops were closed for siesta and the street scene was unusually quiet. a pair of cats were sleeping on a table...

that happened to be placed directly under a signboard from a popular dairy advertising for milk

now maybe that was a coincidence or maybe they are lucky to get a bowl of the stuff if they hang out there or maybe the cats intuitively chose exactly that spot to dream away the afternoon but one of the pair woke up as i approached with my camera to get a close up

and the look on it's face seem to reveal that i disturbed a very pleasant dream and it was not pleased about it
