smash 346: shadow trick or treat?

(Edited)

for the most part October was cloudy and windy. not the best conditions for shadow hunting but yesterday on Hallowe'en day it was nice and sunny and the wind was much lighter than the previous days. so i took a sunset walk in the park that i often frequent

when i came to the far section i noticed some lovely shadows with reflections in the sea

with so much distance across the water one can wonder what is casting the shadows

well part of the shadow is from this larvikite stone sculpture standing close to the shore, a little elevated from sea level. the sculpture is only about 3.5 m tall but with the sun so low the shadow is cast far away over the water. a couple of trees nearby from where i was standing also are involved. but there's more

trick or treat??

i took all these photos with my S22 phone. i edited minor adjustments to the last two but none have been manipulated to make any false impressions

What mysterious shadows you have found, I think it is all related to Halloween @eolianpariah2

shadows are very fun to play around with. the more you look the more surprises you will find. shadows are everywhere there is light, it is mostly about keeping your eyes and mind open for them you are lucky to be such a young shadow hunter. in no time you will be an expert if you try.

while the shadow of my body disappears on the surface of the water the shadow of my head can be seen on the rock, just follow the legs and you will see it along with its reflection. if you look at the second photo neither the shadow of my legs nor head are there. this proves that that the little round shape you see in the last photo is my head
