lunar eclipse

tonight there was a lunar eclipse. not only that but the moon rose when it was fully eclipsed. it was a rare opportunity. unfortunately the sky was a little cloudy and it was not so dark so as it rose it was totally invisible. eventually it got darker as the moon rose above the low distant clouds so it came into view. it was too challenging for my camera to get a good shot in total eclipse but as soon as the eclipse begin to recede i was able to get this series of photos with my S22 phone.

thanks a lot. i really wanted to see the eclipsed moon rising from the sea. that would have been awesome but it was not possible this time. but i was still thrilled to get these shots. i had both a Lumix FZ300 and my S22 phone but the Lumix could not handle the situation so all these shots were from my phone
