recently it has been rather cool for this time of year but it's summer and today was nice and sunny. so i sat out in the garden enjoying a glass of apple juice in the sun and taking in the view of the harbor

of course i wasn't alone. as we were sitting down i noticed the nice shadows from the glasses

the play of light within the shadow was surprisingly intricate so i edited the first photo to enhance it a little. this is my entry photo
