whenever i get the chance i enjoy walks in nature, especially along the rocky seacoast nearby. of course i have my phone camera with me and am always looking out for naturally formed shadows and opportunities to play around creating unusual shadows on the rocks and water. for this round's entry nature had created a fine display without any assistance and i am pleased to share with all the astute shadow hunters on Hive
the wind happened to be unusually light so there was a nice reflection on the pool of water adding to the animistic nature of the shadow and the entire
delightful scene
of course there usually are opportunities to interact with the naturally occurring shadows to playfully create enigmatic shapes and formations. it's not like me to pass on such situations

it's a rock lovers dream come true. while there is a feel of permanence to them they are constantly changing but over millennia rather than the evanescent dance of their shadows.
