entry reflections 259: side view saga

the road to the beach is very narrow and curvy. to get to town we have to take this road. far too often tourists who don't know the road drive too fast and carelessly in the middle of the road. when i see them coming i usually pull over to the side and slow way down so they can recover and get back on their side of the road. i've never been in a serious accident but twice it has happened that they hit my side view mirror- which cracks the glass if not smashing it completely. i took this shot just after replacing the mirror. it's on the market road which is much wider than the beach road so unless somebody parks irresponsibly it is easy to navigate. so while the reflection may not be special, at least the mirror is whole. until the next crazy driver comes along too fast to avoid hitting it once again
