budding sunflowers- an exercise in editing
a local farm here has an impressive field of
pick-your-own sunflowers. i didn't pick any because i didn't know what to do with them but it gave me a good chance to walk around and take photos. i took plenty but it turned out that the shots i liked most were the few that had not opened yet. they all needed some editing so i tried my best
but to be honest i struggled with the colors in the bright sun so i tried editing in black and white and liked it more
i edited the second shot as best i could. i was fairly pleased with the result
but wanted to see what i could do with this in black and white also. it looked much more dramatic
so for the remaining 3 shots i just edited in black and white

Excellent photos, both in color and black and white, with those beautiful sunflowers still closed. Best regards, @eolianpariah2.

Impressive shots! A good practice to be better in editing.
