Weekend Woes😔
I took @lunamoon on her first live round hunting excursions over Thanksgiving break. It was interesting and peaceful minus the misfiring of my Mossberg two out of three times at a sweet 8 pointer! I blame it on the shorter 2.5" slugs my pops replaced my 2.75's with while it was in his care after the fire. So needless to say, we didn't get a deer (this time). Did miss a nice buck though!

That last shot is for the hunters who understand size of tree rubs and the bucks involved. Aside from getting a call on our snack break Saturday morning that my aunt had died, was a pretty decent weekend. I think sometimes, I'm getting desensitized to death and sadness. I should be kinda tore up, but I'm not. Had a lot of shitty ass shit happen the past few years. But, I'm still here reminding you to REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, because it's what I do best.

This is awesome, passing down knowledge like tracking is invaluable. Also the fact that things don't always go as planned is another great lesson. Oh, and how about the lesson that goes, "if you want something done right you have to do it yourself", regarding the slugs ;)
