JD is short for Jonathan Davis and one of the newest members of the family. He is a Corn Snake. Anyone?

For those that aren't aware, Korn is metal band and their current lead singer is Jonathan Davis. They've written some great songs like 'Freak on a Leash' and 'Start the Healing'. They also did a wicked awesome tribute to Pink Floyd by covering 'Another Brick in the Wall 1,2 & 3'. My fav is this one:

That last set is so cool with JD coiling and slithering through her hair. Need to start calling her the Gorgon or Medusa😜! Great natured little reptile though if anyone is in the market and they're not sure what to get. Snakes are more hardy than say an iguana or chameleon and since I have rough young kids? Was a great choice for her to make. I hope you REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, even while chasing the Ouroboros.

Jonathan Davis (what an original name) has definitely earned a place in everyone's heart (and hair)! And curiously, how long does a snake usually live? And since snakes are hermaphroditic, will JD ever have offspring?
Typically, this breed will live around 30 years in captivity if it is taken care of. As for having kids? I had a ball python for a decade and it never had any little ones. Hermaphrodite means they switch sexes, but not impregnate themselves 😜

The Red Rat snake (Corn Snake) is actually native to this area however, they are a smaller shy breed of snake and are often overlooked or - killed thinking they are copperheads. !PIMP
Nice pet! Of course you have to spoil your kids, everyone does! She seems to love that snake, letting it crawl through her hair. The Medusa joke was funny! Korn is a great band, and that's a great pick. It's been awhile since I listened to them.
