A hike up Putzalahua Hill

A day like today, where the cold, the breeze and the fog takes over your five senses, is perfect to get out of bed and go to observe the landscape that is part of the Andean villages of my country Ecuador. I decided to go to the Belisario Quevedo valley because it is precisely there where the Putzalahua hill is located, a beautiful elevation that can be seen from anywhere in the city. I got warm and took the bus to this town without having gone there before, I just let my impulses and my need to be close to the fresh air. During this short walk I found fruit plants, flowers, bushes and animals such as horses, sheep and a chicken.
Once I was there, things flowed wonderfully and I met a lady named Leonor Salguero who kindly invited me to her farm to introduce me to her orchard, her animals and even told me part of her life. I was delighted to listen to her and at the same time photographing her plants and animals. Definitely going to the countryside is like going to another dimension, the cold disappears and the wind is the best massager of your skin. Come back with your lungs full of oxygen and with all the good vibes to start a great week.
What I could say with this walk is that things fall into place or what you want there are times that we do not need everything is resolved, we just have to go and on the way we find friends and people to support us with our follies. Just like our friend Leonor did, the person I met today.

Un día como hoy, donde el frío, la brisa y la niebla se apodera de tus cinco sentidos, es perfecto para salir de la cama e ir a observar el paisaje que forma parte de los pueblos andinos de mi país Ecuador. Decidí ir al valle Belisario Quevedo porque justamente allí se encuentra el cerro Putzalahua, una hermosa elevación que se puede apreciar desde cualquier parte de la ciudad. Me abrigue bien y tome el bus rumbo a este pueblo sin antes haber ido, solo me deje llevar de mis impulsos y por mi necesidad de estar cerca del aire fresco. Dentro de esta pequeña caminata me encontré con plantas frutales, flores, arbustos y animales como: caballo, ovejas y una gallina
Una vez estando ahí las cosas fluyeron de maravilla me encontré con una señora llamada Leonor Salguero quien amablemente me invitó a su finca para presentarme su huerto, sus animales e incluso me platico parte de su vida. Yo encantada de escucharle y al mismo tiempo fotografiando sus plantas y animales. Definitivamente ir al campo es como ir a otra dimensión, el frío desaparece y el viento es el mejor masajeador de tu piel. Regrese con los pulmones cargados de oxígeno y con toda la buena vibra de iniciar una excelente semana.
Lo que podría decir con este paseo es que las cosas se acomodan o lo que deseas hay veces que no necesitamos que todo esté resuelto, solo hay que ir y en el camino encontremos amigos y gente que nos apoye con nuestras locuras. Así como lo hizo la amiga Leonor la persona que conocí hoy.

El clima estuvo como a unos 6 grados hacía mucho frio, pero con la caminata no se sintió. Y la señora Leonor fue muy amable me platicó sobre su finca, no pensé que conocería a alguien ❤️ Gracias por pasar por aquí. 🤗

Además que muchos tomarían el ambiente nublado y cargado como una excusa más bien y tú decidiste que sería excelente para hacer bonitas fotos, y muy buena decisión porque es una maravilla apreciar estos paisajes a través de ti.
Se percibe La Paz y la realidad del ambiente rural, esos paseos con sorpresas inesperadas como esa encantadora señora que acompañó y amplió tu experiencia, no tienen precio, así que esa era tu momento de hacer esa visita.
La foto de portada y del caballo son una maravilla, particularmente me encantó la de la vivienda, me gustan mucho esas estructuras en medio del amplio campo.
¿Qué fruta es la del último árbol, maracuyá ?
Hola Nina ❤️. A mí también me encanta ir a lugares rurales, me recuerda mucho a mi niñez cuando pasaba en medio de las vacas, caballos y potreros. El aire libre también ayuda a despejar la mente el frío ni se diga hace que se te reinicie el cpu jj. Casi siempre tengo ganas de perderte en lugares con esta vegetación, al menos está vez si me animé. La idea principal era ir a caminar y capturar plantas, sin embargo está señora se apareció y me invitó a su finca, tan linda 🥺.

Por cierto la planta se llama "tómate de árbol" sirve para hacer ají y jugos dulces.
