My name is Maritza Gomez, I am from Venezuela from the city Barquisimeto, I am a proud grandmother and lover of crafts and crochet, since I was a girl I have always loved creating things with my own hands and seeing how they take shape little by little. I grew up with my mother, where at that time our life was hard, to have my things I created my jewelry with my hands, since I have always liked necklaces, earrings and accessories, I also remember once making a Roman sandal, but This was made not from a leather sneaker, but from cardboard and thread. Since I was a child, crochet, or as we say here in my country, knitting, has become one of my favorite passions, as it allows me to create beautiful pieces of clothing for both adults and adults. such as baby, accessories and decorations for the home.

I got here thanks to @girlhunter who showed me this path to show my crafts and knitting pieces, at the same time I also love cooking. But my life in knitting I have perfected my skills making this help me as a means of income, at the same time it is an art where you can relax in this beautiful world, since if you love doing it it will not be a job for you, but a passion that will lead you to live a beautiful experience when weaving each piece.

When I knit, my granddaughter loves to watch me, although she is 6 years old, she wants to learn, share our knowledge with my grandchildren and pass on my love for crafts to them, it means transmitting my knowledge and love for it to a new generation, even if one day I am no longer there. art will remain in them, there are very few people who make this type of weaving, it is nice to see how this tradition can continue leaving this legacy.

Mi nombre es Maritza Gomez, soy de Venezuela de la ciudad Barquisimeto, soy una orgullosa abuela y amante de las manualidades y el crochet, desde que era una niña siempre me ha encantado crear cosas con mis propias manos y ver cómo toman forma poco a poco, creci junto a mi madre, donde en ese tiempo nuestra vida fue dura, para tener mis cosas creaba con mis manos mis bisuteria, ya que siempre me ha gustado los collares, zarcillos y accesorios, ademas recuerdo una vez hacer una zandalia romana, pero esta fue hecha no zapatilla de cuero, si no con carton y con hilo, desde niña el crochet o como decimos aqui en mi pais tejer, se ha convertido en una de mis pasiones favoritas, ya que me permite crear hermosas piezas de ropa tanto adultos como bebe, accesorios y decoraciones para el hogar.

Llegue aqui gracias a @girlhunter que me indico este camino para mostrar mi piezas de tanto de manualidades como de tejer, a su vez tambien me encanta la cocina. Mas mi vida sobre el tejer he perfeccionado mis habilidades haciendo que esto me ayude como medio de ingreso, a su vez es un arte en donde puede relajarte en este hermoso mundo, ya que si amas hacerlo no sera un trabajo para ti, si una pasion que te llevara a vivir una bonita experiencia al tejer cada pieza.

Mi nieta cuando tejo le encanta observame, aunque tiene 6 años quiere aprender, compartir nuestros conocimientos con mis nietos y pasarles mi amor por las manualidades, es transmitir a una nueva generación, aunque un dia yo ya no este alli mis conocimiento y amor por este arte quedara en ellos, ya muy pocas las persona que hace este tipo de tejido, es bonito es ver como esta tradiccion se puede continuar dejando este legado.

Creaciones de crochet

No tengo fotos de mis creaciones que he hecho anteriormente, solo me quedan algunas que tenia que son mias, la que he realizados no le he tomado foto, ya que la elaboro las piezas por encargo, al culminarla la entrego, pero desde que me dijeron de este mundo de hive le cuento que he creado varias, mas adelante ire mostrando el paso a paso de las creaciones que ire realizando.
