Greetings dear friends, happy midweek, today I want to share with you all a little of what my carnival Monday was like in the company of my loved ones. I tell you that I thought a lot about attending these carnival parades, because I am not a big fan of the hustle and bustle and crowds of people, but I did it for my little girl who was very excited to be able to put on her Ada costume and go to the carnivals.
Since my child, due to his condition, cannot stand this type of activity, my husband offered to take me with the girl and then go pick us up since it is in a town in another municipality.
Since I did not want to go alone, I invited my parents and my mother-in-law to accompany me and enjoy these festivities together. Even though we left at around 5, we found that the parade had already started. We still looked for a little place where we could watch the parade and we settled in there.
The girl was super excited and the whole road where the parade would pass was full, I don't think there was room for another person. The floats and the costumes were all beautiful, colorful, eye-catching and very creative. I really admire those people who create this beautiful art.
I captured many pictures some of which I share with you today, I tell you that we were there until 9 pm and not even half of the entries had passed, there were more than 100, an incredible number, I think I would have needed to stay until midnight to see them all.
My little girl was tired and already a little sleepy, so we gathered our things and called my husband to come and pick us up.
But I can tell you that even though I didn't want to go, I really enjoyed it and had a great time with my parents, my little girl and my mother-in-law.
It's good that we can still live this tradition.
