ENGLISH
Greetings, dear and beloved friends. I hope you are all having a happy and blessed day. I must tell you that today was a bit of a busy day for me, as I had a preoperative consultation. I will give you a brief summary of everything that happened this morning.
Today I had to get up very early to get to the El Espinal clinic on time, which is about two hours from my house. I was very anxious because, as I am in my 38th week of pregnancy, at this consultation I had to arrange everything related to my C-section, since, unfortunately, due to my narrow pelvis and other circumstances, I cannot give birth naturally.
I was supposed to be at the clinic at 7 a.m., but while I was getting ready and dropping the kids off at my mother-in-law's house, I got a little delayed on the way and arrived at around 7:30 a.m. The nurse and some patients had already arrived, so I was one of the last ones to be seen. However, since there are two doctors, it went pretty quickly.
So, after my appointment, where they told me that my surgery date would be next week, I went out to fill out my medical history and request an appointment for the pre-anesthesia evaluation.
I also left feeling a little concerned because two unexpected circumstances or issues arose. They told me I needed to have a cardiovascular evaluation done by an internist, but this clinic doesn't have an internist, so I have to look elsewhere. In addition, they gave me a list of supplies that I have to collect and bring to the clinic because they don't have these resources, and honestly, there are quite a few.
So, between one thing and another, it was already past 11 a.m., and since I was a little tired, we came home. Tomorrow we will start looking for an internist at a public health center who can help us.
