THE DEVIL KNOWS MORE FOR AN OLD MAN THAN FOR A DEVIL

Blessed Sunday, family, I hope you are feeling wonderful.
In challenge 219, I am participating with the option:
- What is the best and worst advice you have ever been given and how has each affected your life? Use your own photographs.
I begin my posts with the saying ‘the devil knows more from the old man than from the devil’, being the universal reality that surrounds us in every family bosom.
Wisdom is related in society as the experience that each being has in the course of their stages, we are clear that each one interprets and relates it according to their feelings.
This saying is a warning to the younger ones, to think with a cool head every decision they make, because everything is written and what is, will be when the time is right, without haste.
In last week's post I named them by preference to listen first to the bad news and then the good news to improve the outlook, the same happens with the advice, that only people who love us do not give them without any interest that makes it magical and indelible, as there are unusual cases that is part of life to listen to the envious and their poisons.
A few years ago, I remember when I took my first steps at university, I came across characters involved in vices that were common in that environment, alcohol and drugs.
People with personality problems due to traumatized childhoods that only each being knows their family leak.
I was offered to consume in order to live in a world full of illusions and be happy at every moment, and I never accepted because of my values and principles.
Since everything is limited by the desire to do things, without firmness there is no future.
However, on that journey I had to share classes and certain university meetings, like any society, accepting the diversity of essences.
My parents advised me to stay away from them, because of the way they were.
In their free time, some people in their right mind would tell me anecdotes about why they were so rebellious and wanted to get their parents' attention.
Common situations that happen and I understood, the importance of listening and being listened to.
I became attached to one of them, because of their human qualities and we were a great team in the exams, but it happened like the song by Felipe Peláez and Maluma, with the song ‘vivo pensando en ti’.
Mixing things up was a big mistake I made at the time, because trust led to other situations that marked my path.
Because the one who is does not cease to be family, being a crucial anecdote to pay attention to whom to walk with.
One of the best pieces of advice I ever heard was to graduate and be independent, nobody will take that away from you and it will be your indelible tool on earth and so it was, with an immense sacrifice of highs and lows it was decreed and fulfilled.
The advice of our elders is law.
We must never forget key words, like when your mother tells you not to go down that road because something will happen and because you go against it, the unexpected happens for us but alerted by your mother.
Life is about listening and being listened to in order to prosper.
An endless number of anecdotes surround my walk, which marked my path of alertness, knowing how to interpret the malicious messages, expressions and looks that say more than a thousand words in seconds.
In my case, I don't win anyone over, I express and give at every moment what comes from my heart and that makes the difference anywhere. A big hug family.
Blessings, use the deepl translator as my language is Spanish.
