La Laguna de Mucubají, se ubica en el páramo andino vía a la Ciudad de Mérida Venezuela, en la famosa carretera Trasandina entre Apartaderos y Santo Domingo, siendo accesible ya que llegamos en vehículos particulares, transporte público ya sea en bus o en jeep e incluso en caballo o en mula para los nativos. Siendo el punto de partida para las excursiones.

Nuestro paramo posee una vía en buen estado, el cual por medio de avisos o carteles nos guían a nuestro destino con facilidad, se aprecia la hermosa vegetación de frailejones en todo el panorama adornando cada escenario del páramo, sin dejar de lado a lo lejos los hermosos pinos, rodeado de un clima delicioso y una vista de revista.

The Mucubají Lagoon is located in the Andean highlands on the way to the city of Mérida, Venezuela, on the famous Trasandina road between Apartaderos and Santo Domingo, and is accessible by private vehicle, public transport by bus or jeep and even by horse or mule for the natives. It is the starting point for excursions.

Our moor has a road in good condition, which by means of notices or signs guide us to our destination with ease, you can appreciate the beautiful vegetation of frailejones throughout the panorama adorning every stage of the moor, without leaving aside in the distance the beautiful pines, surrounded by a delicious climate and a view of magazine.

Situada a 3800 msnm a 15 minutos de la plaza de Apartaderos la Loca Luz Caballo, según la historia que es amplia es de origen glacial., siendo uno de los atractivos más grandes del Parque Nacional Sierra Nevada tiene acceso a 5 lagunas más como lo son: Laguna la Negra, los Patos, la Victoria y las Canoas, cada una aporta autenticidad y belleza.

En el parque nos rodean una tranquilidad absoluta y si tenemos suerte, se podrán observar animales como en venado de asta y la locha de páramo, animales muy tímidos.

Located at 3800 metres above sea level, 15 minutes from the Apartaderos square, the Loca Luz Caballo, according to the extensive history it is of glacial origin, being one of the biggest attractions of the Sierra Nevada National Park, it has access to 5 other lagoons such as Laguna la Negra, los Patos, la Victoria and las Canoas: Laguna la Negra, los Patos, la Victoria and las Canoas, each one brings authenticity and beauty.

El monumento natural que nos rodea es paseadora para aves migratorias que viajan por el País incluso Latinoamérica, el hermoso hecho ocurre una vez al año por lo que hace a esta laguna un monumento de gran prestigio para los turistas.

Dicha atractivo son protegidos por los entes del gobierno y cuando entra en vigencia las temporadas como lo fue en los Carnavales 2023, llegan patrullas de funcionarios que se distribuyen en la región, por la cantidad de turistas que suelen disfrutar de este panorama y que la mayoría de los visitantes tienen a dañar la flora y la fauna.

The natural monument that surrounds us is a place for migratory birds that travel around the country and even Latin America, the beautiful event happens once a year, which makes this lagoon a monument of great prestige for tourists.

This attraction is protected by the government bodies and when the seasons come into effect as it was during the Carnival 2023, patrols of officials arrive and are distributed in the region, due to the amount of tourists that usually enjoy this panorama and that most visitors have to damage the flora and fauna.

El sitio cuenta con tres de las cumbres más altas de Mérida. Las cuales son el pico Mifes a 4300 msnm siendo 5ta cumbre más alta de Mérida y el Mocoñuque a 4250 msnm siendo la 6ta cumbre más alta del estado, información que me la facilita uno de los funcionarios de laboran en la región.

The site has three of the highest peaks in Mérida. A eso de las 6 y 30 de la tarde, se puede apreciar una vista de película con un hermoso atardecer, que cuando suele estar cubierta de neblina, enamora a todos los amantes de la naturaleza.
