COLOURFUL WEEKEND.

In our day to day lives we have an infinite number of thoughts that overflow our minds. To combat this I have decided to make changes in the aesthetics of the house and thus distract and focus the mind on something productive.
So I select the option:

Some time ago with a lot of sacrifice we bought some paints to restore certain corners of the home, this time I focus on our everyday being the kitchen.
Painting is to change the whole picture, we selected two types of paint being one in oil and one satin, I will tell you why.
As you can see our kitchen is very airy, the house is surrounded by children so the most practical and economical way to make it last is to use oil paint.
The choice of colours is a controversial one, for me I would use pastel colours for everything as it gives us a warm and harmonious atmosphere, but the decision is a family democracy.
In this case, it was the light brown colour in oil covering the window area and the guava colour for the other surfaces in the kitchen in a satin state, both paints are washable and were what covered our budget, giving a total of $80.
Painting takes work and a simple praxis of the process, which if you have the desire, everything is possible, for me it's like painting on a block, since it's a hobby.
Before I start, I set up my place to work so I brew my favourite coffee which I can't miss with my music and start the day off on the right foot.
First I clean the study area, passing a broom and then a soapy cloth over the area to be remodelled, as the dirt tends to accumulate over the years.
The surface to be painted is detailed, either by adhesion due to chipping, bubbles due to the presence of moisture.

In my case, there was not so much damage to the wall, so once it is cleaned, I proceed to paint, but first I have to mix the paint very well.
Traditionally at home, I use a simple stick to mix the paint, a spatula and a brush.
A simple and necessary maintenance in every home, every time you can, with motivation to achieve, every effort has its reward.
A weekend that passed in the blink of an eye, because when the mind is busy you don't think much and your situation flows more.
