Window Shopping at Riazor: An #Oceanlovers Perspective

La Coruña was one of the ports we visited during our cruise around Spain. As soon as we arrived, we could see the city stretching along the coastline, with the bright blue sea sparkling in the sunshine. It looked like a lovely place to spend the day.

Even though the weather wasn't as hot as it had been earlier in the cruise, it was still warm. There is a beautiful sandy beach called Riazor Beach close to the city, where swimmers, surfers, and families were making the most of the sunshine.

We decided not to go down onto the beach, preferring to look at the coastline from above where there was a welcome breeze.

We also watched several small sailing boats making their way across the harbour.

There was plenty of activity on the beach, with surfers getting ready to head into the water while others relaxed on the sand.

We also walked along the seafront, taking in the buildings that line the waterfront. The promenade is well looked after and offers fantastic views across the bay. It was a nice place to stop for a rest and take a few photographs.

Although the heat meant we took things slowly, we still enjoyed our visit. We spent time walking around the town as well as along the waterfront, taking in the atmosphere and admiring the views.

We left La Coruña with good memories of its beautiful coastline, lively promenade, and welcoming atmosphere. It was a lovely stop on our cruise, and we'd happily return one day to explore even more.
