Wednesday Walk to Upper and Bottom Moor

It has been raining on and off for the past few days so I haven't done a lot of walking. Today was slightly better as I took my morning walk at Upper Moor. This line of beech trees is quite well known in the area and much photographed. They weren't cutting it today as it was quite dark but they still looked nice even though not great for photography.

The only fly ageric I saw was one just breaking through the earth. There wasn't a lot happening here so I moved down to Bottom Moor further down the road to do a circular walk.

I like the little footpath between the trees with a carpet of lovely coloured autumn leaves. I had to be careful not to slip on them, though.

To say how wet it's been there was very little fungi about.

The clouds were very dark and it started to drizzle with rain but the sun was trying to break though. By the time I got back to my car it was a lot brighter.

Ohh,, how I missed your colorful photos.. 😁 It's nice to see those orange leaves on the ground mixing with the green grass and the dark ground.. 😊
I can still remember your post where there were a lot of over ripe fruits on the ground.. but this time there's none.. ☺️
Anyway,, have a great day..
Thank you @vvodjiu. Lots of acorns on the floor at the moment that aren't very kind to your feet.
Ohhh.. I hope you haven't stepped on one and hurt yourself..
You have to grit your teeth and walk over them, I'm afraid. 🙂
