Wednesday Walk: Nature's Colourful Painting

I popped over to have my haircut this morning and decided to call in at one of my local parks on the way back. The sun was out and it was fairly warm as I got out of my car and followed the footpath hoping to do a circular walk.

The trees were a lovely colour of orange, yellow and green. They just looked like a water colour painting.

I went over one of the wooden bridges that cross over the stream.

I noticed overhead, the plane trails in the lovely blue sky. The park is usually quite busy at weekends with lots of dog walkers about. This morning it was fairly quiet.

I had to duck my head getting under the low hanging bushes.

As I was on my way back, someone had just fed the ducks as they were all congregated on the side of the lake. There were a few colourful mandarin ducks in the mix. I left them to have their snack.
