The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 408

After bumping into a fellow villager this afternoon who was on her way to buy some wine for cooking (and a bottle to drink), I decided to treat myself to a bottle of beer. I don't drink much alcohol but it was a warm day and I fancied something refreshing. I was originally heading up to the old quarry for a walk, so I slipped home first for a glass and a bottle opener and took the beer with me!

Having previously enjoyed a beer from Badger Beers, I chose to try their pale ale called Hopping Hare. This beer has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 4% and is crafted in Dorset, UK. Notably, all of Badger Beers' bottled options are vegan-friendly.

The Hopping Hare I sampled was light and crisp with a refreshing lemon flavour that made it ideal for warm weather. It offered a good balance of citrus mixed with the smoothness typical of lagers.

Even though I enjoyed this beer, it didn't wow me. It seemed very similar to other pale ales. However, I wouldn't turn it down either. It did make me realise, though, that I still prefer dark ales over pale ales due to their stronger flavours. It's always good to try something different, and at £2.25, it was well worth it.

This is #BeerSaturday week and I would like to invite @derbyshirelad to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures.
