Fungi Friday: Foggy Fungi Finds

It hasn't been a great week weather-wise, with quite a bit of rain, however, on the positive side, I found more fungi for #fungifriday by @ewkaw. The wood I visited early on in the week produced quite a few. I've not been here for a while.

I only found one intact fly ageric hiding just off the footpath.

Lots of little ones hiding amongst the fallen leaves.

These look large in the photo but the one on the left was very tiny.

These look like birch polypores. A lot of the fungi are dying off or rotting but this looks new. There's hope for me yet in finding more over the next few weeks.

I think these might be willow brackets. They remind me of horses' hooves, though.

I'm really pleased that I'm still discovering fungi. It wouldn't be the same without them. More to come next week!
