Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 256 - Free Theme
I popped down to the village lake this morning to take a few photos of the birdlife. Every morning, people leave bird seed on the stone pillars next to the lake.

You get a nice variety of birds from coal tits, blue tits, robins and nuthatches to name but a few.

Unfortunately, the robins chase the other birds off. Sometimes, they just stand their ground and do not even eat the bird seed, they just stay on guard to shoo the other birds away. I literally had a nanosecond to get a few photos of other birds.
Frustratingly, the other birds are more nervous in sticking around, unlike the robins, who seem to stay around much longer. I wasn't quick enough to get the nuthatch but a little dunnock appeared.

Thankfully, when I got home, the free range guinea fowls had come to visit. They belong to a man around the corner, but they please themselves as to what they do. At night, they visit one of my friends for treats and then roost in the trees.
This is My Entry to the Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 256 - Free Theme.
Thank you to @nelinoeva and the team for running the contest.
