CCC's Street Art Contest - Round #253

I don't see a lot of graffiti art in my own town, well not the good kind, anyway. So, I have to rely on the derelict quarry in the village to come up with the goods. I popped up this morning to see if any of the artwork had changed. Thankfully, there were a few new pieces.

This is my entry to the CCC's Street Art Contest Round #253.

I bumped into two young men up in one of the buildings. You always get a bit twitchy when you're up there on your own but they were a couple of urban explorers who'd never visited before.

It turns out one of their friends does some art work at the quarry. After a nice chat I left them to look around.

There's been more talk recently about knocking the place down and building a few houses on the land. There are potential access issues so it might never happen. It is good to document the artwork though, just in case the place does get bulldozed.

Hello, dear friend @ellenripley

I'm so glad you found these beautiful works and have the chance to have them before the place is demolished.

Beautiful and colorful shots.

Have a beautiful day.

Great selection of StreetArt in this quarry. Yes, sometimes there are places where you don't really like to meet people, you never know who you're going to run into 😀 Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.

Have a lovely day

Thank you. At least it wasn't the mad hatchet man! 😆
