Bird Life and Painted Pebbles at the Nature Reserve

Walking around a National Trust property, we saw quite a few pairs of bonded swans. The majority of swans mate for life, but there are some who split up, or if one of them dies, the other might couple up with another swan later on.

The swans in my village are building their nests. Sometimes, they will reuse the one they made the previous year. Recycling at its best. I don't think these swans have got to that stage yet.

There was a Rainbow Pebble Trail. You can add your own to the long line. They looked really nice as we walked along. One of my hobbies is painting pebbles, but sadly, I didn't bring one with me.

The greylag goose is pale grey with lovely pink legs and orange bill. I always think their pink legs don't quite match the rest of their body. It's like they have some other bird's legs on.

It was nice and sunny, so it was nice to catch some nice reflections of the coot’s body and the branches in the water. Now it's peeing it down, so let's get out of here!
