Beeley Brook: A Little Adventure Through Moors, Brooks and Trees

This morning, I enjoyed a walk near a place called Beeley Brook, a nice spot with lovely views.

As it was a weekday, there was hardly anyone about so parking was very easy this time.

One of the highlights of the walk was the expansive views stretching out over the moors.

This is one of the trickier parts of the walk, along a cart track that is always flooded.

The walk also took me past an area where tree felling was still taking place. A large pile of logs lay beside the path.

I wandered through a woodland area. The trees provided a cool shelter from the sun, the birds were singing and it was good to be surrounded by greenery.

As I walked further, I spotted pink campion flowers growing along the hedgerow. It is a common wildflower found in the UK but still very pretty.

At one point, I had to carefully make my way over the brook. It was a bit of a precarious stride as the rocks can be slippery. I managed to do it without any problem, though. I'm glad I've got long legs!

It was a good place to walk, with a mixture of open moorland views, flowers, flowing water and woodland paths. Next time I visit, I might go a little further. I'm sure there are plenty of other paths to explore.
