A Tootle around Holmebrook Country Park
We had some of the wet stuff this morning ... rain! It's been so long but very welcome. Even though it was overcast, it was still warm as I had a walk around Holmebrook Country Park. I think because of the rain, all the dog walkers had come out as the car park was quite full. More sun was forecast this afternoon, so it's best to get the doggies out while it's cooler.
The parking is free and there are plenty of different routes to choose from along with a children's play area, a café, a lovely big lake, picnic tables and benches for when the sun comes back out.
The trees and bushes definitely looked better with a bit of rain. As I took a photo of this tree it was photobombed by a dog deciding to take a dip in the stream and a squirrel scampering up the tree. You can barely see them.
As the pigeon was posing for me it would have been rude not to take a photo.
It was a morning of photobombs as a woman wearing a red coat walked into my shot, but I kind of liked it.
Horse Chestnut tree with fruit and leaves.
For some reason, I usually get lost here but I've finally got my shit together and walked back to the car without any issues.
Wow... This is one of the very nice places for a casual stroll while enjoying the greenery of the grass and the fresh air, a great job by my friend.
Thank you very much @furkanmamplam. 🙏
