Hello friends, what a nice pleasure to share my first post in this new community focused on outdoor activities, hiking, trekking, walking and other outdoor activities. Beyond the language barrier I can say that I love and enjoy very much your contents, even if I have to translate everything, it's worth doing it, you all do a nice job, and you have a jovial and natural way of expressing yourselves. And when it comes to nature, there will be no barrier to share it.

Here I share mine, I hope you enjoy it.

A walk in Peru

It was a nice and clear day, the sun was shining brightly, it was the best time to walk through this high area of the place where I live that they call Peru. Upon arrival, you get a little dizzy the altitude, the breeze is cold, you feel that your whole face is tempered by the cold of the morning. I can't imagine what the nights will be like at this altitude.

Here at this point they call it "El mirador" you can see a large part of the place where I live. The whole area is filled with thick fog in the evenings and very early in the morning. The people of this area enjoy this beauty on a daily basis.

In this photo you can see the highest hill in the area, it is the one at the end and its top stands out from the rest. Many people with good physical stamina come and climb this hill, they come with their tents and hiking equipment. They say the sunsets and sunrises are beautiful. But I don't know, for me, I think it is already a very extreme sport. We were able to get to this one by transport, saving us the climb, but on the way back we had to walk. And I enjoyed it!

There is a village around, they are very humble and kind people, used to a farmer's life, they live quietly.

The children played with total freedom, they had a self-made wooden cart, it even had a brake was what surprised me the most, what ingenuity!

Unfortunately, I didn't get there in time to film and take a close-up picture so they could appreciate the ingenious car. When I was motivated to approach them, the boy got in his car and immediately picked up speed. As you can see it is a steep downhill, I could only see it in the distance, when he reached the plane. And the other children were running after him. It was beautiful to see his innocence and creativity.

On the way back, we could see other beautiful views of the landscape, as the fog was beginning to descend.

From this point we could see some of the houses of our companions, who accompanied us on the long journey, we could also distinguish some well-known places such as the center, the gym, among others. It was fun, we laughed a lot at the things that came to our minds, like: “hey friend, over there you can see your mom preparing the stove for the arepas”. I think we were hungry by this point!

We arrived exhausted, but happy. Thank you, my friend, for accompanying me on this walk. I missed a flower garden that captivated me. I hope to show it to you in a future post.
