I hope you are well and eager to see new places, if it were up to me, I would love to travel and see many. But since my circumstances don't allow it, I enjoy your virtual journeys in the @pinmaple community.

Today, I will share with you a site with sentimental value.

Espero que estés bien y con muchas ganas de conocer nuevos lugares, si fuera por mí, me encantaría viajar y conocer muchos. Pero como mis circunstancias no me lo permiten, disfruto de sus viajes virtuales en la comunidad @pinmaple.

Hoy compartiré con ustedes un sitio con valor sentimental.

Punta de Mata and El Tejero are different parishes of the Monagas State but very close to each other with a cool and very tropical climate, although it is not a beach area, palm trees adorn these places and provide a pleasant and very cool shade. (Northeast Region of Venezuela)

The images that I took of the name of the area clearly describe how this humble home really is: it is an oil, cattle, agricultural, sports area, with humble and hard-working people and a very natural, fresh and tropical beauty. This is how I understood the image, and it seemed interesting to share them with you.

Punta de Mata y El Tejero son parroquias diferentes del Estado Monagas pero muy cercanas entre sí con un clima fresco y muy tropical, aunque no es una zona de playa, las palmeras adornan estos lugares y brindan una sombra agradable y muy fresca. (Región Noreste de Venezuela)

Las imágenes que tomé del nombre de la zona describen claramente cómo es realmente este humilde hogar: es una zona petrolera, ganadera, agrícola, deportiva, con gente humilde y trabajadora y una belleza muy natural, fresca y tropical. Así entendí la imagen, y me pareció interesante compartirlas con ustedes.

The oil company:

In these areas, many are surprised at how close these large gas and black gold companies, as they are currently called, can be seen. Most of the people work or once worked at these gas or oil plants.

La petrolera:

En estas zonas, a muchos les sorprende lo cerca que se pueden ver estas grandes empresas de gas y oro negro como las llaman actualmente. La mayoría de las personas trabajan o alguna vez trabajaron en estas plantas de gas o de petroleo.

Lamps that never go out

Can you imagine!!, a lamp that never goes out? Yes, in these oil areas there are huge gas lamps, and they are always working day and night.

What may look like a beautiful sunrise to you is not a sun rising in the morning, it is a big torch or gas lamp as I call it. The image that I show you below is proof of this, it looks like a beautiful sunrise, but it is not. Even so, it is a good image that captivates and deceives.

As long as it's away from you and controlled it can be seen, otherwise it's terrifying.

Lámparas que nunca se apagan

¿Te imaginas!!, una lámpara que nunca se apaga? Sí, en estas áreas petroleras hay enormes lámparas de gas, y siempre están funcionando día y noche.

Lo que puede parecerte un hermoso amanecer no es un sol saliendo por la mañana, es una gran antorcha o lámpara de gas como yo la llamo. La imagen que te muestro a continuación es prueba de ello, parece un hermoso amanecer, pero no lo es. Aun así, es una buena imagen que cautiva y engaña.

Mientras esté lejos de ti y controlado, se puede ver, de lo contrario, es aterrador.

Lands of the plain

All its streets are flat or flat, here you get used to walking long distances, especially in the places furthest from the center.

I remember when we were little my dad would take us on long walks, he would tell us stories about those big companies and the nature that surrounded us, we would ask them a lot of questions.

The ones we had with my dad were very significant outings. We discovered rivers that hardly anyone visited because they were so far away and deep in the dry forest.

Tierras del llano

Todas sus calles son llanas o planas, aquí te acostumbras a caminar largas distancias, sobre todo en los lugares más alejados del centro.

Recuerdo que cuando éramos pequeños mi papá nos llevaba a dar largas caminatas, nos contaba historias de esas grandes empresas y de la naturaleza que nos rodeaba, les hacíamos muchas preguntas.

Los paseos que tuvimos con mi papá fueron salidas muy significativas. Descubrimos ríos que casi nadie visitaba porque estaban muy lejos y en lo profundo del bosque seco.

Privileges of the plain

One of the things that captivates these flat areas is the sky, as you may have noticed in the previous photos it is as if the sky were close to you. Its clouds are so thick and dense that they amaze all travelers who pass through these places.

Privilegios del llano

Una de las cosas que cautiva de estas zonas planas es el cielo, como habrás notado en las fotos anteriores es como si el cielo estuviera cerca de ti. Sus nubes son tan espesas y densas que asombran a todos los viajeros que pasan por estos lugares.

The climate:it is very tropical in summer and heavy rains in winter. But in general it is very cool, and I like that because even though the sun is strong, the breeze makes you feel that the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Even so, you still have to take your precautions regarding the sun. I always look for the shade to rest.

El clima: es muy tropical en verano y fuertes lluvias en invierno. Pero en general es muy fresco, y eso me gusta porque aunque el sol está fuerte, la brisa te hace sentir que el ambiente es muy agradable.

Aun así, todavía tienes que tomar tus precauciones con respecto al sol. Siempre busco la sombra para descansar.

Its food: It is varied and wide. Personally, I love my mom's hallacas, they are unique to me, she learned to make them the way they are made in these areas, for me they are the best. I have tried many, but like the ones my mom makes, there is no one like it. And I think they will know or imagine why? They have sentimental value, as well as the place: MY FAMILY HOME!

Su comida: Es variada y amplia. En lo personal, las hallacas de mi mamá me encantan, son únicas para mí, ella aprendió a hacerlas como se hacen en estas zonas, para mí son las mejores. He probado muchas, pero como los que hace mi mamá, no hay ninguna igual. ¿Y creo que sabrán o imaginarán por qué? Tienen valor sentimental, así como el lugar: ¡MI HOGAR FAMILIAR!

It is a great pleasure to share my experiences of these places, to which I travel constantly.
They are humble, extensive areas, and with great privileges to appreciate and value.
