RE: The Best Souvenirs: Coffee Lessons and Cultural Discoveries in Singapore

The coffee would definitely intrigue me! I roast coffee in a commercial table top roaster that does one pound at a time- a micro roast if you will. My roasters (I have 2 of them) are fluid bed, meaning that hot air is blown in from underneath the green beans. At first they don't move first, but as it heats up, they dance around in a fluid motion, hence the name fluid bed. It takes about 13 minutes to roast the coffee and the smell of it as it progresses is just amazing!

I've never been through a full size roasting company before, but I'd like to think the control I have with my micro lots might actually roast a better pound of coffee than industrial size roasters! At least that's what people are telling me!

On the other hand, there is no way a full blown coffee roaster could roast just one pound at a time!

I was thinking as I was reading your post, if it was safe to be out and about shopping like that late at night. I'm glad that it's a safe place! Thank you for sharing your adventure! Take care and have a lovely week ahead!🤗💜🍂🍁🌻 !LADY

The micro-roasting process sounds so precise and hands-on sis! 🙌 It's way modern than the traditional ones ✨ That's really cool that you have coffee roasters at home 💖 Thank you so much for sharing that process as well 💕 And yes, it's safe because they have stringent laws being implemented, cameras are everywhere, and the locals are very kind 😊 You too sis, take care and have a lovely day 🤗🌷🥰
