He's braver than I would have been! So did you go across it? Hopefully the water wasn't too deep if it had broken. Love the wet doggie footprints in the 3rd pic!
Max is fearless! Thanks for sharing!

Yeah we went to the other side to get down to the river and later came back. The bridge is safer than it looks, with solid planks and beams, but still a bit shaky. The depth of the water wasn't a problem, but the drop would have been probably a SHOCK, 7 to 9 feet I think.
I have a history with bridges. If you Google the Silver Bridge over the Ohio River, you will find a story about how it fell during rush hour traffic. When I was a child, every summer we visited North Carolina, and went that route and would cross that bridge. I hated that bridge! It frightened me as a child; I would hide in the floor board of the car until we were across it. I look back now and wonder why it frightened me so much, but it did. Maybe somehow I knew? Anyway, if you also look for the movie, Mothman Prophecies, it's embellished a bit, but it is based on the falling of the bridge.
Then, there's the bridge in Miamitown, Ohio.........that's a story for another day!
Glad your bridge was sturdy although I'm not sure I would have had the nerve to cross it. Take care friend! Give Max a hug for me!
