Palm Sunday 🪻……..My Actifit Report Card: March 29 2026

Palm Sunday-a day of reflection and time spent in the beginning of Holy Week some 2000 years ago.

Our day began at church. Worship was awesome and inspiring. The message was as well. It was a wonderful beginning to the day.

I had planned a post about my bird feeders, except that Amazon didn’t deliver as promised. It will have to wait for another day. 😏

The day has been mostly rainy and not conducive to getting outside much. I spent the day doing, finishing and filing taxes! So glad together that monkey off of my back! Why do I procrastinate?! Then, I started a load of laundry; rode the stationary bike and paced. I also finished an Amish murder/mystery that was impossible to put down.

At least I still have some pictures of flowers from yesterday’s shopping trip!

It’s been a quiet afternoon although I’m halfway expecting granddaughter Olivia to call me for a video chat. She’s only 6 months old, but she recognizes me over the phone! She’s quite the little girl! ❤️

If she does, it will be about an hour’s call. I’m hoping we’re going to see her in April! 🙏

Tomorrow sees me headed to the audiologist for a hearing test. I have tinnitus and I’m looking to see if anything can be done to at least tone it down some. Silence is something that I don’t know any longer. 🙃

That’s gonna be it for now. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏

BSB Matthew 21:1-11

As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent out two disciples, saying to them, “Go into the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt beside her. Untie them and bring them to Me. If anyone questions you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.”
This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:
“Say to the Daughter of Zion,
‘See, your King comes to you,
gentle and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’”
So the disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and laid their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them.
A massive crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
The crowds that went ahead of Him and those that followed were shouting:
“Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Hosanna in the highest!”
When Jesus had entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”
The crowds replied, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”
