Nature’s Beauty…….My Actifit Report Card: March 8 2026
Nature’s beauty is all around us every day. Unfortunately, we don’t always stop to really look and appreciate that which we have.
Our Sunday began at church with another stellar service. When church ended, we headed home to do something we’d been dreading doing, but felt we had no choice. Our neighbor has been for several years, dumping mud and forest debris from his property onto our property. After his latest clearing of some of our land even, to give himself access to a sort of hunting blind he’s created, we felt we had no choice but to put up ‘no trespassing’ signs. We have never in the 45 years of owning various houses with various neighbors, ever had something like this to deal with. We are trying to quietly avoid a confrontation due to the personality of this guy. We are hoping this is enough and things will stop. If not, then we’ll have to proceed to the next step. Why can’t people just leave what isn’t theirs, alone? 😔

It is too early, although in my indoor greenhouse, I have green peas already climbing a lattice I made for them and pumpkins have sprouted as well. Too early to go outside just yet, but within the next 8 or so weeks, we should be safe. Take care sis! !LUV

Well......if you are referring to the very first photo, it's not a flower......it's a deer in the midst of a very unruly Alder tree! The stubs were left there so we didn't run over them with the riding lawnmower as they're too tall and the blades hit them. It's an ugly thing when that happens!
You must do a post on your church sis! I'm excited for you! Ours is a way off just yet, but I know the plan is to break ground this year.

Your photos are beautiful, and the flowers are wonderful. I hope you can resolve the situation with your neighbor. We were reading a story at school called "Tell Them Not to Kill Me" by Juan Rulfo, and it's about very mean neighbors. What a coincidence!

Thank you @angeluxx! It is a situation that we honestly had hoped would go away. If he would just stop, but that doesn't seem to be the way it's going. Time will tell. We really don't want the probable confrontation that seems looming on the horizen.
