Monday-Monday…….My Actifit Report Card: March 2 2026

It’s Monday and as Mondays go, this one has been pretty good.

I headed up the mountain from home this morning to go visit Linda. We’ve known each other for 20+ years through church. Years ago, she held a ladies Bible study at her home that I attended. When we led worship at church, we encouraged her to play guitar, which she did. I would go up to her home a few times a month and just visit. Then, life happened and I got busy and didn’t go up the mountain.

We reconnected about 3 years ago at a church we had just started going to back in 2023. We’d talk for a bit after church and then she’d go home with her husband and we’d go our way. It was super nice to have the opportunity to reconnect. Our church holds 2 services that of which we attend the early service. She and her husband attended the later service as he had some health and mobility issues and it was difficult to get him started in the morning.

Long and short of it, her husband passed away this past November. It wasn’t announced at church and I was completely unaware until earlier this year, I saw her after the early service. That was when she told me of his passing. I had no idea!

I’ve been visiting with her during church some and asked her if I could come to her home to visit, which is what the morning was all about. We spent close to 2 hours visiting and updating each other. She talked about her husband some and how different life is now. I had been worried about her some because of how she seems.

I was thinking I should go when someone arrived, ironically from our church as well. I guess she was worried about Linda as well. I’m going back in 2 weeks to spend the morning with her and visit some more. I’m hoping folks visiting her will lighten her load just a bit.

The balance of my day was doing a couple things around the house as well as 2 stationary bike sessions and a podcast as well.

Tomorrow sees me headed to ladies Bible study where we will continue our study on Romans.

After this I looked and saw a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had previously heard speak to me like a trumpet was saying, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after these things.”
At once I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne standing in heaven, with someone seated on it. The One seated there looked like jasper and carnelian, and a rainbow that gleamed like an emerald encircled the throne. Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and on these thrones sat twenty-four elders dressed in white, with golden crowns on their heads.
