Monday, Monday …..My Actifit Report Card: September 15 2025

It’s Monday once again-where does the time go I wonder? I didn’t plan on going anywhere as I had things to do! First up was to roast coffee for a customer as well as ourselves. Upon checking my green beans, discovered I really needed to do a green bean coffee order. I’d been hearing that coffee prices had gone up exponentially, and they weren’t kidding! I ordered my bag, but it’s going to force me to raise my price per pound beginning in October. I should have enough of the coffee I had on hand to last until then. 🤞

I planned on 3 loads of laundry today, and thanks to my new dryer, it was doable!

I also needed to do a continuing education class for opticians in order to keep my license, so I sat down to do it. While I did that, @silvertop performed surgery on Dust Bunny, the robotic vacuum. It was a successful operation and she is no longer deceased! See his post for details.

Once that was done, we headed out for a hike up the road.

We saw this mom and her two babies in the clear cut almost looking lost.

We hiked on up to the pond.

The leaves have begun to fall and I found a nice little display of them.

Not too colorful yet-I suspect if we have any color, it will come from the Vine Maples. They are mostly green as of now with a few colorful leaves now and again.

On the way back home, we crossed paths with mama deer and babies again, but this time they were in more familiar territory.

That’s gonna be it for today. It’s been a beautiful sunny day and these sunflowers are the perfect way to end this post!
