Out And About!……..My Actifit Report Card: September 13 2025

Fall is in the air! You can see it in areas like the parking lot above where the burning bushes are burning and those maple tree like trees with the balls with all the little spikey things on them, are beginning to turn as well. You can feel it in the air; it was warmish today but not uncomfortably so. There’s a different feel to the air, and the sunshine looks different too. You just know and feel it coming! 🍁🍂🍄‍🟫

Our day began with an hour long soak in the hot tub. Sheer bliss! 🙂‍↕️

Then we headed to town as @silvertop needed some boy stuff from the Home Depot.

Their garden center was full of fall perennials.

Then I stumbled onto one of my favorite things!

The potted corn was interesting. The tassels weren’t the norm. Up close, they looked like this:

It was a nice display. Got the stuff we came for and then headed up to Lynden. However, before the Home Depot, we stopped at Walmart as I wanted to pick up a gift for our granddaughter who is already a month old! Where does the time go?! I found the perfect outfit and toy so it awaits our trip next weekend.

Anyway, once in Lynden, stopped at Starbucks and got coffee and a spot of food for @silvertop as he left home without eating. 🙄

While there, I read on the table that we could have free refills of hot coffee or iced teas. So I inquired and sure enough, because we spent time in house eating and drinking our coffees, they gave me two venti sized passion teas, as that’s what I chose out of the selection. It was good! I’m going to take advantage of that more often. We usually stay to drink our coffees and if it’s on the house, why not? 😁

On the way home, I stopped at a roadside stand and purchased my third pumpkin 🎃 for my collection. I saw a sign further out on the way home and we are planning to go see about that roadside stand tomorrow after church.

After getting home and unloading the truck, we went up the road to see how much more has been logged. It’s sad, really.

Oh! I also found a ‘shroom! Right outside my door! It’s about 4” in diameter. I was quite surprised!
