A Flower……..My Actifit Report Card: July 21 2025
Flower can often make you feel lovely! Each flower is an amazing work of details, beauty and sometimes fragrance. They can make a drab room cheery, or cheer you up if you’re sad. So delicate and intricately designed!
The day began with a dunk in the hot tub. It was super nice and relaxing-maybe too relaxing! Afterwards, I had several things planned to do but shelved the idea as our youngest son called and an hour and a half went by just like that! So, I got ready to head to the dentist’s office.
Today was the day to receive the permanent crown for the tooth I had worked on last month. The dentist said I’d not need to be numbed to do this but upon his beginning to pry off the temporary one, it felt like an ice pick was being inserted instead! 😳 Fortunately, he stopped and numbed it. Then he took a little saw to the temporary one to expedite the situation. I don’t handle pain well in my mouth-I told him I’d rather give birth! After that it was pretty smooth sailing but unfortunately the inside of my mouth is kind of raw and it’s sore. Here’s to hoping it goes away soon!
Once home, we headed out for a hike. Jan came with. The plum tree is still laden heavily with fruit despite a few of the neighbors ‘lightening’ its load. Beyond that, it’s been a fairly quiet day.
