Happy Caturday-The Day After!…….My Actifit Report Card: July 5 2025

It’s Caturday AND it’s the day after……you know, after all the bombs went off- or at least from Cot and Cyle’s perspective! 🙀 Our neighbors next door to us, had a party and after dark, the explosions began. Poor Cot and Cyle both were terrified! They ran and hid as far back behind the washer as they could get! I tried to comfort them, which seemed to help some. Then Cot sought shelter in our bedroom. They shot off more fireworks next door and he came running like a bullet, to hide by the washer again. It upset me to see them traumatized by this. Add to the fact that technically, we are under a burn ban AND our forest directly around us is compromised of cedar and fir trees. Not the smartest choice to shoot off fireworks in the forest! 😡 Thankfully, nothing caught fire.

Consequently, Cot was tuckered out this morning!

We needed to get a sheet of metal and to also hit Costco, so we headed out to the store today. All told, we went to Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Home Depot, and Costco. I’m bushed, but had taken a bit more melatonin last night and believe some of my fatigue could be the dreaded ‘melatonin hangover’. 😏

While at Home Depot, I took some lovely flower photos. Enjoy!
