Sunday And Bee Butts!………My Actifit Report Card: June 1 2025

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope your day has been blessed! 😇

Ours began at church with a wonderful and passionate sermon from our youth pastor, Pastor Caleb! He’s new to the church and this was the third sermon he’s done for the congregation. He is on fire, just like our main pastor, Pastor Kyle. I love Sundays and listening to the sermons and participating in worship! An awesome way to start the day! 😇🙏

Once home, we did some things around the house and mid afternoon, met Jan and headed up the trail. I took Pepe-yette and @silvertop took Pepe Frog. You see, they had a coffee date out on the trail.

They shared their mocha. It was sweet!

We met a deer along the way.

She was enjoying the abundance of greenery to eat. With all the rain we’ve had, the undergrowth of the forest is everywhere!

@silvertop was enjoying the hike as well! 😎

It was perfect hiking weather with just enough breeze to keep you cool and the bugs off of you!

The Digitalis is blooming! Appropriate since May just ended and June is just beginning!

Who would think these beautiful flowers were hairy?

The peonies are blooming as well!

Right about now, I suspect you’re wondering about the bee butts. Digitalis is a huge bee attractant. I’ve been in the midst of a large volume of plants, happily snapping pictures of the flowers and the many bees climbing up into them. Thus far, I’ve not gotten stung-it’s almost like they cooperate with me for it.

There were only a couple bumblebees 🐝 there this afternoon. They went so far up into the flower so that all I have to show you are their bee-butts! 😁

I’ll have another go at it in a day or two. Perhaps I’ll get more than just their rear ends, lol! 🐝

An update on the Thimble berries-they are progressing nicely. It won’t be long now!
