Frozen Reflections…….My Actifit Report Card: January 16 2024
In the above picture, the water has frozen into a sheet of ice. You notice the reflection of the landscape on it. The ice was pretty much crystalline, hence the clarity of the reflection just as it would be if pond weren’t frozen. Very pretty!
I had a follow up post live training this morning and then I set out for ladies Bible study. I haven’t been there since Thanksgiving! It was nice to finally get back to it and to fellowship with the ladies. Today was Cathy’s birthday so we celebrated with her. We all brought our lunches and Lynda had baked a cake for the occasion. It was a nice time. 🥳
We did a hike midafternoon despite the temperatures outside. Jan came with. It seems that generally you will always have the opposite effect from one thing to another. My first picture had crystalline ice but this next one is the opposite. Entrapped in the ice is part of an evergreen.
It was late afternoon and the sun was on its downward journey bringing on dusk.

That’s it for now. They’re calling for anywhere up 8-11” of snow covered with an ice sheet. Oh boy, sounds like a great time-NOT! I’m not sure how it will shape up for work tomorrow. For now, it’s a waiting game.

That's pretty cool mini-lake. It doesn't look that frozen since the surface is just a thin sheet.
I don't think it's all that thin. It's had several days of nothing above 25 degrees Fahrenheit and mostly below 15 degrees Fahrenheit! That's cold enough for 2-3 inches!
