A New Beginning……..My Actifit Report Card: January 7 2024

A new beginning is granted each day. Our day began at church. The worship and sermon were excellent. We were treated to a little boy who was being baptized. It is awesome that this church doesn’t wait for specific time of year to baptize folks, but instead, whenever there is a need. I know we missed one last month due to being out of town, but we were present for today’s event. Our church uses a portable hot tub (like the one I got @silvertop for his birthday) which makes it nice for the person being baptized-no more cold water! (Especially during the winter!)

After church, we headed home to load up Bill and Agi’s gifts for Michael and Christine and ours for them as well, and headed over to their place to ‘drop them off’ which actually turned into us staying for a while and visiting. I am not 100% well and didn’t want to share, but being as they are close to 14 days on the backside of Covid, they weren’t worried so much. It was a nice unplanned visit. We will have dinner with them early next month and visit longer. I thought I might take the VR headset to see how they take to it. 😁

It’s been a nice day but with it being cold and with how I’m feeling, I stayed home for a VR workout while @silvertop headed up to the pond for a quick but dark hike! 😳 Unfortunately, I have to go to work tomorrow and coach Vera through the new system and also at 8 AM, I have a post live training session. Then I’ll try to catch up on the jobs remaining from last week and hopefully will be ready to roll on Wednesday. 😅

I am tired and a bit run down. I’m hoping to leave work around 1:00 or so. Fingers crossed!🤞
