Busy as a bee!🐝🐝🐝

I got up a bit earlier than usual to go to work and try to get a jump on the work that was waiting for me. It turned out it was a wise thing to do as I was able to get the insurance verified and the Medicaid jobs done from Monday before we opened for the day.

A patient came in around 12:30 with a local school district liaison. The liaison was complaining about my coworker when I stepped in to try to diffuse the situation. I have worked with my coworker for 9 years and have not known her to be as the liaison was describing. Unfortunately, the liaison was not going about it in a professional manner which honestly doesn’t reflect well for the school district either. I did get the patient squared away and then asked my coworker to let the doc know what had transpired as it’s very possible she will be with the patient on Friday when she comes and possibly lay into him about it.

Later, at one point, I had 5 people waiting specifically for me. I jokingly said I needed one of those take a number dispensers, lol! 🤣🤣🤣 The lady I was working with said I must be special since I was so popular. 😊

I’ve been a bit less stressed today as I have finally stopped trying to be Superwoman 🦸‍♀️ I can’t possibly get everything done I need to without help, so I will do what I can and keep plugging away at it. One can only do what one can do. I know the doc is aware.
