Hello #gems friends, I'm back here in my little corner of the internet where I enjoy sharing a bit about my daily life. I'll share with you a celebratory evening: my niece Anthonella's birthday. Her parents threw her a small party at my parents' house.
Muy temprano le escribí a mi sobrina más pequeña, la vida me dio solo dos sobrinas que para mi son mi adoración. Alcanzaba a cumplir 12 añitos y ella estaba feliz de recibir mis felicitaciones, lo triste para ese día era qué tenía que asistir al liceo y tenía evaluación el día de su cumpleaños.
Very early this morning I wrote to my youngest niece. Life has only given me two nieces, who are my absolute joy. She was turning 12 and was happy to receive my congratulations. The sad part that day was that she had to go to school and had a test on her birthday.
Hacia la tarde mi cuñada me llamó para invitarme en la noche para cantarle cumpleaños a mi sobrina, mi hermano siempre ha hecho de este día algo especial, ya que es su niña más pequeña.
Towards the afternoon, my sister-in-law called me to invite me to sing "Happy Birthday" to my niece that evening. My brother has always made this day special, since she's his youngest daughter.
En cada cumpleaños nos reunimos solo familia, pero esta vez éramos muy contados los que estábamos. Ella contó con la presencia de dos amiguitas quienes siempre han compartido en este día especial para ella.
On each birthday we usually just get together with family, but this time there were very few of us there. She was joined by two little friends who always share this special day with her.
Me sentía feliz de celebrar junto a ella su cumpleaños, fue un compartir muy breve, pero ver a los niños disfrutar de pequeños momentos felices que para ellos es muy significativo.
I was happy to celebrate her birthday with her; it was a very brief time together, but seeing the children enjoy those small, happy moments is very meaningful to them.
