Nuestro primer almuerzo de enero. [ESP-ENG]

Hola queridos amigos de lifestyle, saludos y espero se encuentren muy bien. Deseándoles que este año venga cargado de éxitos para todos y que sus metas se vayan cumpliendo a lo largo de este año.

Mi primer día del mes fue una bendición, ya que logramos reunirnos nuevamente para celebrar este primer día del año donde y como es costumbre desde hace años mi papá y mi mamá prepararon el acostumbrado frijol para nuestro primer almuerzo.

My first day of the month was a blessing, as we were able to get together again to celebrate this first day of the year where, as has been the custom for years, my dad and mom prepared the traditional beans for our first lunch.

Mi papá venía recolectando de su siembra frijol, y este estaba bien conservado para que se mantuviera fresco y sano y así fue. Llegado este primero de enero nos dimos cita mis hesmanos, mis primas que siempre están presente junto a nosotros. Previo a este día ya mi mamá había cocinado el frijol, de manera de levantarse este primero de enero solo a a darle el último toque.

My dad had been harvesting beans from his garden, and they were well preserved to stay fresh and healthy, and they were. On January 1st, my siblings and cousins, who are always there for us, gathered together. My mom had already cooked the beans beforehand, so she only had to get up on January 1st to give them the final touch.

Se supone que todos amanecemos trasnochados del día anterior, quizas cansados, ya que es un día de celebración, es por ello que mi mamá siempre toma su provisión. Yo me levante muy temprano para alistar a mis hijos e irnos a casa de mis padres para compartir este día tan especial.

We're all supposed to wake up tired from the night before, perhaps even exhausted, since it's a day of celebration, which is why my mom always packs her supplies. I got up very early to get my children ready so we could go to my parents' house to share this special day.

Justo al llegar ya mi mamá iba muy adelantada con el tradicional almuerzo de frijoles qué tiene un significado y es atraer la abundancia en cada año que recibimos, y vaya que nos ha funcionado.

Just as I arrived, my mom was already well ahead with the traditional bean lunch, which has a meaning: to attract abundance each year we receive, and it has certainly worked for us.

Nuesrtro encuentro fue muy emotivo, disfrutamos con alegría y mucha fe de seguir alcanzando nuestras metas para este año 2026, este día como familia fue maravilloso y siento que es el primer encuentro de muchos por venir.

Our meeting was very emotional. We enjoyed it with joy and great faith in continuing to achieve our goals for this year 2026. This day as a family was wonderful, and I feel it is the first of many meetings to come.

Nuestra familia es muy pequeña pero me siento muy a gusto compartír junto a ellos, mis padres son muy especiales conmigo y ellos son mi amor más puro. Agradezco todo lo que han hecho por nosotros sus hijos y ahora por sus nietos.

Our family is very small, but I feel very comfortable sharing this time with them. My parents are very special to me, and they are my purest love. I am grateful for everything they have done for us, their children, and now for their grandchildren.
