La intensión era hacer una sopa, y contábamos con el apoyo de nuestro compañero de trabajo, especialista de deporte quien se destaca en la cocina y prepara unas sopas qué les quedan super deliciosa.
The intention was to make soup, and we had the support of our coworker, a sports specialist who excels in the kitchen and makes incredibly delicious soups.
Por mi parte estaba anciosa de que llegara el día del compartír, no se hizo el mismo día del maestro, puesto que era día de semana, así que nos fuimos el fin de semana para una posada.
For my part, I was eager for the day of sharing to arrive. It wasn't on Teacher's Day itself, since it was a weekday, so we went to a posada on the weekend.
Todos contribuimos a su creación. Yo, por mi parte, estaba deseando que llegara el día de compartir. No se celebró el Día del Maestro, ya que era entre semana, así que fuimos a una posada ese fin de semana.
We all contributed to its creation. I, for one, was eager for the day of sharing to arrive. It wasn't held on Teacher's Day itself, since it was a weekday, so we went to a posada (traditional Mexican Christmas celebration) that weekend.
Mis compañeros felices de estar compartiendo de un momento diferente, el cocinero feliz, ya que esa es su especialidad y como le encanta la cocina. La sopa era un cruzado de huesos rojos con gallina, se tomó su tiempo para preparar el almuerzo.
My colleagues were happy to be sharing a different kind of moment, the cook was happy too, since that's his specialty and he loves cooking. The soup was a red bone broth with chicken; he took his time preparing lunch.
Mientras tanto cada quien estaba en el lugar donde se sentía feliz, por mi parte me me trasladaba de un lugar a otro, iba a supervisar a mi compañero en la cocina, a mis colegas dentro de la piscina lo cual disfrutaron, mi hijo también nos acompañó y fue un momento divertido para él y para todos.
Meanwhile, everyone was in the place where they felt happy. I, for my part, moved from one place to another, supervising my partner in the kitchen, my colleagues in the pool, which they enjoyed. My son also joined us, and it was a fun time for him and for everyone.
La posada estaba para nosotros, allí no habían huésped, pero igual nos compartamos y nuestra estadía ahí fue placentera, yo disfrute muchísimo este momento junto a mis colegas.
The inn was all ours; there were no other guests, but we shared everything and our stay there was pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed this time with my colleagues.
El almuerzo estuvo listo a las seis y media de la tarde, se nos hizo eterno la espera pero mientras tanto disfrutabamos al máximo nuestro encuentro. De verdad que nos hacía falta salir de nuestro entorno laboral y pasarla diferente.
Lunch was ready at 6:30 p.m. The wait felt endless, but we thoroughly enjoyed our get-together. We really needed to get away from our work environment and do something different.
