Introduce Myself. " El flaco " [Esp/Ing]

Buena salud y larga vida les deseo a todos mis nuevos amigos hivers. Hoy tengo el gusto de presentarme ante ustedes. Me llamo Jesús Díaz González, soy de origen campesino, el séptimo hijo de catorce hermanos. Cubano, nací el 30 de mayo del 1952 en la provincia de Pinar del Río. En el hogar de una familia humilde y trabajadora. Tuve una infancia felíz, gozaba de una buena salud, todos me decían el flaco.

Good health and long life I wish all my new hivers friends. Today I have the pleasure of introducing myself to you. My name is Jesús Díaz González, I am of peasant origin, the seventh son of fourteen siblings. Cuban, I was born on May 30, 1952 in the province of Pinar del Río. In the home of a humble and hardworking family. I had a happy childhood, I was in good health, everyone called me skinny.

Mis queridos padres, ya fallecidos, nos dieron una educación empírica a su poco alcance cultural, pero con mucha honradez. Mi padre se dedicaba hacer casas de tabacos y viviendas de maderas, además hacía otros implementos agrícolas como son arados criollos y rastrillos. Mi madre, ama de casa, se encargaba de atender a sus catorce hijos.

My dear parents, now deceased, gave us an empirical education to their little cultural reach, but with great honesty. My father dedicated himself to making tobacco houses and wooden houses, he also made other agricultural implements such as Creole plows and rakes. My mother, a housewife, took care of her fourteen children.

Matriculé la primaria a los 8 años y a los 15, fue que logré alcanzar el sexto grado, porque enzima de que vivíamos lejos de la escuela, la asistencia de los maestros era algo inestable, debido al poco transporte por aquellos caminos de difícil acceso.

I enrolled in primary school at 8 years old and at 15, it was when I managed to reach the sixth grade, because since we lived far from the school, the teachers' attendance was somewhat unstable, due to the little transportation on those difficult access roads.

En ese período, jugando beisbol me fracture el fémur de la pierna izquierda. 15 días antes de cumplir los 16 años fui llamado al Servicio Militar Obligatorio (SMO), en la Marina. Allí pase varios cursos y después, mientras trabajaba como carpintero en un taller, por las noches estudiaba en la Secundaria Obrera y Campesina, en la Facultad.

During that period, while playing baseball, I fractured the femur of my left leg. 15 days before my 16th birthday I was called up for Compulsory Military Service (SMO) in the Navy. I spent several courses there and later, while working as a carpenter in a workshop, at night I studied at the Obrera y Campesina Secondary School, at the College.

Pasé estudios como ejecutor de obras en el Instituto Técnico de la Construcción. Por mi trabajo me enviaron a cursar estudios en la República de Bulgaria. En este país, estudié seis meses en la Capital" Sofía" y el resto del tiempo lo pasamos recorriendo las principales obras de todo el país. Hasta llegar a Varna, a orillas del mar negro, allí estuvimos en el centro Internacional de la Juventud, vivencias estás que jamás olvidaré.

I studied as an executor of works at the Technical Institute of Construction. Because of my work I was sent to study in the Republic of Bulgaria. In this country, I studied six months in the Capital "Sofia" and the rest of the time we spent touring the main works of the whole country. Until arriving in Varna, on the shores of the Black Sea, there we were at the International Youth Center, experiences that I will never forget.

Al regreso de Europa, fui enviado a las Villas a construir una obra de carácter nacional. Tiempo después fui Supervisor Técnico Clase A en la empresa de Elementos Prefabricados en mi provincia. Hasta que llega el llamado" Período especial", dónde tuve que dejar mi profesión para buscar otras formas de ganarme la vida. Muchos emprendimientos realicé para mantener a mi familia, dos hijos que criar.

Upon returning from Europe, I was sent to Las Villas to build a work of national character. Some time later I was a Class A Technical Supervisor in the Prefabricated Elements company in my province. Until the so-called "Special Period" arrives, where I had to leave my profession to find other ways to earn a living. I did many undertakings to support my family, two children to raise.

En ese período tuve mis dos hijos @eduardo900613 y @jesusdiaz880924, que son los tesoros de mi vida, con mucho esfuerzo y contante dedicación, logré que fueran hombres de bien y profesionales de la salud. Conocí hive por medio de ellos, pues llevan tiempo incursionado en la creación de contenido. Me agradecen mucho el que, cuando eran pequeños, los ponía siempre a redactar escritos sobre el día para mejorar la caligrafía y redacción.

During that period I had my two children @eduardo900613 and @jesusdiaz880924, who are the treasures of my life, with a lot of effort and constant dedication, I managed to make them good men and health professionals. I got to know hive through them, because they have been involved in content creation for some time. They thank me very much for the fact that, when they were little, I always put them to write writings about the day to improve their calligraphy and writing.

Actualmente, me encuentro jubilado, realizo algunas misceláneas para compensar en algo la carestía de la vida. Arreglo sombrillas, algún que otro trabajito dé albañilería, en fin me mantengo activo. Tengo un nieto que se llama Eduardo como su papá, al que quiero mucho, es la alegría de la casa.

Currently, I am retired, I do some miscellaneous things to compensate somewhat for the cost of living. I fix umbrellas, some other masonry work, in short I stay active. I have a grandson named Eduardo like his father, whom I love very much, he is the joy of the house.
